Financing green growth

Back in May of last year, we helped finance Future Forest's planting of 340,000 trees at Dumyat in Scotland.

Future Forest is at the forefront Scotland's reforestation efforts, and helps achieve the drive towards zero. Over the next hundred year, this new forest will remove in excess of 80,000 tons of carbon from the atmosphere, enhance the woodland habitat in Scotland, and increase biodiversity.

The forest is now fully planted, and we look forward to watching these trees grow into a vibrant forest. We are proud to have helped Future Forest pursue its mission.

From a financial perspective, this is an attractive opportunity thanks to a combination of Scottish Forestry grants, and Carbon Credits. Carbon Credits, once certified, can be sold by Future Forest to companies who need to offset their emissions. They are a crucial tool in the transition to net zero by providing the necessary rewards for long-term investments in decarbonisation.
